Do You Suffer From This Common Stress Relief Malady? (Part 2)

by Doc Orman, M.D.

Stress Relief 2In my first post this week, I started to highlight a series of three posts I wrote here in January of 2012 on the subject of “stress relief tipitis.”

In a nutshell, stress relief tipitis is the mistaken belief that one or more powerful tips about stress will eventually make a big difference for you.

Well, the only tip I do think is likely to help you is this: stop thinking that simplistic tips are going to help you deal with your stress.  It’s very, very unlikely that they ever will.

In the second post in this three-part series I published back in January, I explain exactly why tips don’t work to relieve most of your stress and why you should stop paying attention (if you do at all) to the vast majority of stress relief tips that endlessly come your way.

To get back to that second post, just click on the link below:

Why Stress Relief Tips Don’t Work

Also, there’s still time to benefit from my four-part video series on YouTube on how to have less stress and more fun during the holiday season.  If you want to see a good example of helpful stress relief advice that doesn’t rely upon simplistic, superficial tips and other ineffective “to-do’s” for relieving stress, simply click on the link below:
