Grand Finale Stress Awareness Month Part 1

April 2013 marks the 21st year in a row that I’ve been the official sponsor of National Stress Awareness Month ( .

The purpose of Stress Awareness Month is to stimulate a national, cooperative effort to inform people about the dangers of stress, the availability of successful coping strategies, and the many popular but harmful misconceptions about stress that are prevalent in our society.

Less Anger…More Forgiveness

This year, I have concentrated my personal efforts on raising awareness about the problem of anger and hostility in our society.  To do this, I released two of my most popular anger relief e-books for free on Amazon during two limited 5-day periods:

The Irritability Cure: How To Stop Being Angry, Anxious And Frustrated All The Time (was available free on Amazon 4/1-4/15/13)

The Art Of True Forgiveness: How To Forgive Anyone For Anything Anytime You Want (was available free on Amazon 4/15-4/19/13)

Even though both of these books are no longer free, you can still get them at a very low price just by clicking on the links above.

Best Of The Best

For the last full week of Stress Awareness Month 2013, and as my own personal “grand finale” contribution, I would like to refer you to three of the best blog post series I have published here since the inception of this blog in September, 2011. I’ll feature one of these three-post series each day, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of this week.

And for each featured series, I will provide you with links to the original articles, and I’ll also explain why I selected that particular series as being either most helpful or most interesting, at least in my opinion.

First Things First…

The first set of stress awareness blog posts I’ve chosen to highlight is my three-part series on understanding one of the most important stress relief principles I know of—that stress is just a word.

If you really want to learn how to master stress in your life, without having to manage it, this is the very first principle you must get totally clear about it.

Here are the three posts in that series, which I wrote about in several 2011 blog posts and then revisited again in June 2012:

Do You Know That Stress Is Just A Word?

What Are The Benefits Of Knowing Stress Is Just A Word? (Part 1)

What Are The Benefits Of Knowing Stress Is Just A Word? (Part 2)

If you are new to this blog, or if you are not already familiar with this central cornerstone of my teachings about how to master stress, I highly recommend you click on the links above and read each of the  posts in this series.

Stay tuned for my next highlighted stress awareness series that will appear in this blog on Wednesday of this week.
