Stress Awareness Month Founder Targets Anger And Forgiveness For 2013

by Doc Orman, M.D.

Stress Awareness Month 2013 Part 1This year marks the 21st year that April has been designated National Stress Awareness Month (http://stressawarenessmonth.com) .

Sponsored annually by me and The Health Resource Network, Inc., Stress Awareness Month is a national, cooperative effort to inform people about the dangers of stress, successful coping strategies, and harmful misconceptions about stress that are prevalent in our society.

Less Anger…More Forgiveness

Last year (2012), I focused my own educational efforts during Stress Awareness Month on helping college students learn how to better cope with stress.  The College Stress Relief e-book I wrote back then is still available for free download at http://collegestress.net

This year, I’ll be focusing on the problem of anger and hostility in our society.  As part of my own personal efforts to help support Stress Awareness Month, I will be offering two of my recent Kindle books for free on Amazon during limited 5-day periods:

Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 5, 2013 you can download the following Kindle book for free directly from Amazon:

The Irritability Cure: How To Stop Being Angry, Anxious And Frustrated All The Time (Doc Orman, M.D.)

Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19, 2013 you can download the following Kindle book for free directly from Amazon:

The Art Of True Forgiveness: How To Forgive Anyone For Anything Anytime You Want (Doc Orman, M.D.)

And you don’t even need to own a Kindle device to personally benefit from these two excellent stress relief books. You can download and read them both from ANY computer, smartphone, or tablet device you already own by using Amazon’s free software available here:

(NOTE: install the reader first before downloading the book.)

Anger And Violence Are Clearly On The Rise

If we look around today, it is painfully clear that physical abuse, homicides, road rage, divorces, religious conflicts, and political divisiveness are all increasing.  In my opinion, these are all signs that we lack deep understanding about what really causes our anger to occur and what we need to know in order to forgive.

The two books I’ll be making available for free in April can go a long way towards helping people reduce this unnecessary and unhealthy trend.  So please do your part by reading them, if you haven’t already done so, and by letting other you care about know that they are available.
